The next request I had was from my 11 year old son Brad. He wanted a hat rack that he could hang his hats on. I came up with an idea for a carousel hat rack. Made out of 1/2" birch plywood, this project stands 3 tall. I rabit jointed the main core of the box - there is not a single nail in this piece. I found a rotating plate for a lazy susan cabinet, and mounted the entire rack to a base, so it rotates 360 degrees! There is room enough for 12 hats! This project will be stained, and I will post pictures when it is finished. Below are the pictures after sanding...
